I want to test the site ygov.finance in development in any of the etherium testnets. How do I achieve it?

Isn’t there a way to use it using testnet ether rather than mainnet ether?
I doubt because yearn contracts are connected to many other contracts. So to test yearn on testnet, all other protocols should also be having contracts deployed on same testnet.
@banteg can contracts be tested on testnet?
